Blackmagic today announced that pre-orders are now available for its new $30,000 URSA Cine Immersive camera, with deliveries set to begin late in the first quarter of 2025.

Blackmagic Design has started taking pre-orders for its new Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera, specifically designed to capture Apple Immersive Video for Apple Vision Pro.

Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive is available to pre order now direct from Blackmagic Design offices worldwide for $29,995 (US). Delivery will start in late Q1 2025. URSA Cine Immersive will be available from Blackmagic Design resellers later next year.

Watching videos on the Apple Vision Pro is one of the few use-cases early adopters have found for the VR headset, but Apple’s produced only a handful of immersive videos to watch on it. Blackmagic’s new camera could change that.
