Chicago weather: A cold, cloudy Sunday, but more snow on the way
Yesterday’s record snowfall was tapering off throughout Sunday morning as the Winter Weather Advisory was still in effect.
Snow will continue overnight before tapering off early Sunday. Another 2-4” is possible, along with wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour. Light snow showers are expected again around sunrise Sunday.
Temperatures in the Chicago area are forecast to dip into the 30s starting Wednesday, and wind chills could fall to a low of 6 degrees Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The city of Chicago is no stranger to strange weather events and unique phenomena, but this weekend’s snowstorm added to that lore.

Chicago weather: Rainy start today with a possible rain–snow mix tonight
CHICAGO - Today is rainy and foggy to start. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 50s. The rain will dwindle to drizzle with drier conditions on the way this afternoon. Tonight, it gets chilly with temperatures dipping into the mid 30s.
