Phoenix Suns All-Star guard Devin Booker has been ruled out of Saturday's home game against Detroit Pistons due to left groin tightness. Booker, 28, missed practice Friday, one day after suffering the injury in the third quarter of a 120-111 loss to the visiting Indiana Pacers.

Then Booker played through a left groin injury in his 58-point effort against the Pelicans that ended with a 118-114 home win Dec. 17. He missed Phoenix’s next three games before returning against the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day, but re-aggravated the injury within five minutes of 128-125 overtime road loss and didn’t return.

Suns drop to 14-12 after 120-111 loss to Pacers, but the bigger loss may have been Devin Booker with a groin injury.
