Another round of winter weather could fuel flight disruptions across the south and southeast, and it's already leading to mass cancellations in Texas.

According to FlightAware, there are 13,031 flights delayed and 1,650 total cancellations as of Thursday morning.

DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field lead the nation in flight cancelations, according to flight tracking website Flight Aware. The numbers below are as of 1:40 p.m. Dallas Love Field Spokesperson Patrick Clarke says the airport feels prepared for the incoming winter weather.

Snow has fallen across Texas with North Texas being hit hard leading to flights being canceled and schools closing.

About 40% of Thursday flights from DFW are canceled, according to FlightAware. Those numbers will certainly rise as the ice, sleet and snow move in overnight Wednesday and early Thursday.
