A New Jersey drone pilot says most sightings are easily explained after people have been reporting mysterious drones in the state for weeks.

The Federal Aviation Administration continued its drone crackdown Friday, adding 29 cities across New York to the region’s temporary ban of unapproved drones for security concerns, as officials investigate reported drone sightings in the region amid public curiosity about the sightings.

Garden State residents have been growing increasingly alarmed over the past month by unexplained bright lights in the nighttime skies and frustrated by a lack of answers.
