The watch was issued for Grande Ronde Valley, Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon, John Day Basin, Ochoco-John Day Highlands, East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades and Central Oregon as well as Wallowa County.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Cleburne County, Ala ., Newton, Rockdale and Walton Counties. Parts of Cleburne County have already received 5-7 inches of rain with an additional 1-2 inches possible, Deon says.

On Thursday at 2:09 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning in effect until 6:15 p.m. for Delaware County. "At 2:09 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area.
