Put it in the Burn Book. ESPN college football analyst and former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy wants the Longhorns to stop trying to make their Arch Manning experiment work ahead of Saturday’s first-round College Football Playoff game against 12th-seeded Clemson.

Greg McElroy gave a different perspective - an Alabama one - to the Crimson Tide missing out on the College Football Playoff. “You have to play at a high level every week, and, if you don’t, you’re in big trouble,” he said Monday during McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning on WJOX-FM 94.5.
