The Dallas Mavericks can't catch a break as the injury bug continues to bite the franchise. The hits kept on coming on Monday night as Mavericks star Kyrie Irving suffered a left knee sprain late in the first quarter during the game against the Sacramento Kings.

Mavs star guard Kyrie Irving went down hard in the first quarter of Monday night’s game vs. the Kings and appeared to suffer a lower-body injury. Replay appears to show Irving driving the lane and banging knees with an opposing player before landing awkwardly and possibly hyperextending his other knee.

Kyrie Irving's left knee bent back awkwardly as he tried to go up for a layup, and he had to be helped off the floor.
