Police in Ohio identified the officer killed by a raging gunman on Wednesday who opened fire on police responding to a call, leaving two others injured. The gunman was also killed.

Officer Wagner's life and service to our city will never be forgotten,' said Acting Lorain Police Chief Michael Failing.

The city of Lorain is rallying around its police force and honoring the three officers shot in an ambush attack, including Officer Phillip Wagner, who died Thursday.
