ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag warning for Thursday until 6 p.m. The red flag warning is for most inland areas of Tampa Bay, including Polk, Hardee, Highlands, and DeSoto counties.

Due to critical fire weather conditions, a red flag warning has been put in place for Disney World and the surrounding Central Florida area. Disney World and its surrounding area are no strangers to extreme weather.
