King Charles' brother Prince Andrew has reportedly refused to walk the late Queen’s corgis as he struggles with feelings of demoralization.

During the COVID lockdown, Prince Andrew had gifted two corgis to his mother, Queen Elizabeth, to lift her spirits.

Prince Andrew will not be joining his brother King Charles III and other members of the royal family for Christmas this year. Instead, the Duke of York, 64, will “honourably withdraw” from the royal family’s Christmas celebrations at their estate in Sandringham, England to avoid being a distraction, according to the BBC.

King Charles "cannot afford another royal scandal" amid the storm surrounding Prince Andrew, a commentator has told GB News. The Duke of York, who stepped down as a working royal five years ago, will not spend Christmas with the Royal Family in 2024 due to the ongoing "Chinese spy" controversy.

According to a ruling from Britain’s High Court issued earlier this week, Andrew was “prepared to enter into business activities” with the alleged spy, Chinese businessman Yang Tenbo, also known as Chris Yang, who the court said gained an “unusual degree of trust” with the beleaguered prince.
