Sewell will play Mr. Bennet with Partridge portraying Mr. Wickham and McCormack Mr Bingley in Dolly Alderton's adaptation of the beloved Jane Austen novel.

Netflix has assembled the cast for its 6-part limited series Pride and Prejudice, based on the classic Jane Austen novel, which has started production in the UK. Rufus Sewell (The Diplomat) will star as the wise patriarch Mr Bennet.
