First discovered: 3:49 p.m. Jan. 18 A new wildfire was reported today at 3:49 p.m. in San Bernardino County. Hodge Fire has been burning on private land. At this time, there is no data on the containment status of the fire and the cause has yet to be determined.

Volunteers are still needed for San Bernardino's Point-In-Time-Count of the area's homeless population on Saturday, Jan. 23.

San Bernardino County residents living in mountain communities are frustrated over an ongoing power outage that hasn’t been restored since last week. Southern California Edison had implemented power shutoffs for at-risk communities in preparation for the wind storm that fueled several wildfires in SoCal including the Palisades and Eaton Fires.

Little Mountain Fire initially started 2:44 p.m. Jan. 15 in San Bernardino County. After being active for 16 hours, it has burned 34 acres. By Thursday morning, the fire crew successfully encircled the entire perimeter of the fire in control lines. However, the cause is still being investigated.

San Bernardino, United States - January 15, 2025 San Bernardino County Fire reported that the Little Mountain fire has been contained after burning through 34 acres. The Little Mountain Incident Commander requested 10 additional engines and two hand crews during the firefight.
