Daniel Blumberg took home the Oscar for best original score for composing the music of the towering drama The Brutalist. Blumberg won his first Academy Award on his first nomination, after the 35-year-old previously won the Ivor Novello Award for best original film score for The World To Come in 2022.

Adrien Brody (“The Brutalist”) and Mikey Madison (“Anora”) took the top acting honors. Brody, a previous winner for “The Pianist,” was honored for playing a brilliant architect struggling to complete his masterwork, while Madison scored an upset victory for her portrayal of an exotic dancer under pressure to get an annulment from her rich husband.

The 97th Annual Academy Awards, hosted by Conan O'Brien, returned to Hollywood on Sunday. Sean Baker's "Anora" was the big winner of the night, taking home five awards. Read the full list of winners (italicized) below.
