NEW YORK -- Amazon said Thursday that founder and CEO Jeff Bezos has finalized his divorce with wife MacKenzie, who will end up with a stake in the online shopping giant worth more than $35 billion.

Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie Scott were married for 25 years, from 1993 to 2019. Scott received approximately $36 billion in Amazon stock in the divorce settlement. The couple have four children together.
