The victim was driven in a private vehicle to a local hospital, where he died. Two Augusta men have been arrested.

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - On Feb. 5, 2025, at 3:40 PM, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at the Family Dollar on 825 Laney Walker Boulevard. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the male victim identified as Damien Patrick, who had been shot at least once, had already been taken to the hospital by a private vehicle.
