San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York says the team remains committed to keeping quarterback Brock Purdy as the two two sides enter an offseason with the intention of signing a long-term contract.

San Francisco’s 6-11 finish in 2024 sparked some discourse about head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch’s capabilities to get the 49ers over the hump to a Super Bowl. York told the AP he has no such reservations.
