Approaching three years since his last game in the NFL, a former Denver Broncos linebacker is now back in the league. The New York Giants have signed linebacker Jonas Griffith to their practice squad, the team announced Monday. Griffith, 28, previously worked out for the Giants last month.

The Denver Broncos showed interest in adding a former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman to the roster on Monday.

The Broncos sacked Jets quarterback Justin Fields nine times on Sunday, giving Denver an NFL-leading total of 30 sacks this season.

Driscoll played for the Eagles the past five years, but was placed on injured reserve toward the end of the 2024 season and he wasn't brought back as a free agent. Still, Driscoll started nine games at right guard in 2021, though he's mostly played as an extra lineman otherwise.
