The team's focus for a new home has fluctuated between a tract of land it owns in Arlington Heights to the Chicago lakefront, and then back to the suburb.

The Chicago Bears have expanded their search for a new stadium site beyond the state of Illinois. In a letter sent to fans Wednesday, Bears president Kevin Warren said Northwest Indiana is among the locations the franchise will explore to build a new domed stadium.
