Two women were shot and critically injured Wednesday night on Chicago's West Side, Chicago police said. The women were outside just before 9:15 p.m. in the 100-block of South Cicero Avenue in South Austin when an SUV drove by, and someone shot at them, police said.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two men were shot early Friday morning on Chicago's West Side, Chicago police said. The men were involved in a verbal altercation outside with an unknown male suspect just before 12:30 a.m. in the 1300-block of North Lamon Avenue in Austin, CPD said.

The men, 26 and 30, were standing outside in the 500 block of North Central Avenue around 11:25 a.m. when three men jumped out of a vehicle and opened fire, Chicago police said.
