Palestinians are eagerly awaiting the reopening of the Rafah border crossing, Gaza’s lifeline to the outside world.

Israel has said that it will reopen the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt within days for travelers on foot, a move that would allow Palestinians who fled the enclave during the two-year war to return home for the first time.

Two Palestinian boys have been killed by Israeli fire in Gaza while collecting firewood, according to their families.

An Israeli airstrike killed three journalists in Gaza on Wednesday, the territory's civil defense agency said. One of those killed, Abed Shaat, had worked for years as a cameraman for CBS News and other outlets.

"We’ll work with many others, including the United Nations," said Trump as he introduced the founding members.
