Iconic World War II planes to touchdown at Georgetown County Airport with tours and rides
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Two iconic World War II aircraft are returning to the Georgetown County Airport in October, officials announced on Wednesday. Guests can see, tour, and even fly aboard the historic B-29 Superfortress “DOC” and P-51 Mustang “Gunfighter” while the planes are visiting the airport from October 1-4.
