Michigan State football suffered their third consecutive loss on Saturday afternoon, getting blown out against UCLA, 38-13. Unfortunately, the Spartans defensive performance against the Bruins was pretty disappointing, considering the momentum they built against Nebraska last week, but the performance this week was simply not good enough.
Following a loss at USC, Michigan State had a bye week to adjust, then put together a sloppy performance in a 38-27 defeat at Nebraska. A three-and-out by the defense to start against UCLA followed by Aidan Chiles leading a fifth touchdown drive on the opening possession through six games was an ideal start before it fell apart.
The Spartans (3-2, 0-2 Big Ten) and Bruins (1-4, 1-1 Big Ten) meet Saturday afternoon at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing for their homecoming game. MSU-UCLA starts at noon, with the TV channel being the Big Ten Network and streaming link on Fubo.
