Snowfall totals are expected to be higher the farther south you go, with areas south of Interstate 80 seeing the best chance for mutiple inches of accumulation. Snow ends from west to east by midnight and skies turn partly cloudy for Tuesday. Lows Monday night are in the upper single digits to low teens with highs Tuesday in the low to mid 20s.
Gusty northwest winds will keep the cold locked in and snow blowing around this morning before more light snow arrives Monday.
As November turns to December, the Baltimore area will see several chances for snow and wintry mixes this week.
Light snow showers will begin overnight starting out as isolated then becoming widespread by Monday morning. The heavier snow is still looking to be south of I-80, but scattered light snow is likely in the metro. The snow will wrap up by the early afternoon hours. The evening commute should NOT be impacted.
