A win over the Pittsburgh Steelers at Paycor Stadium Oct. 16 could change the outlook of the Cincinnati Bengals season.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson has a chance to play on Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Hendrickson is “day-to-day” on the short week after suffering a back injury during Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor gave updated injury statuses for several players including Trey Hendrickson and Mike Gesicki heading into Thursday night's game vs. the Steelers.

Gesicki, who has become a big part of what the Bengals do offensively, will be replaced by a combination of Drew Sample, Tanner Hudson, and Noah Fant. While Gesicki is their top target at tight end, they have a deep room capable of replacing him.
