The NHL Department of Player Safety announced three-game suspensions for Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid and Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers on Monday. Both players were penalized for cross-checking their opponents’ heads during both teams' matchup on Saturday night, which saw Vancouver win 3–2 in regulation.
