Adrien Brody clinched his second Oscar for best actor, winning Sunday for his role as a visionary Hungarian architect in “ The Brutalist ” and solidifying his legacy as one of Hollywood's most compelling talents.

Adrien Brody joined the coveted club of two-time Oscar winners last night after picking up the Best Actor award for his role in Brady Corbet's The Brutalist. With his lengthy acceptance speech, the New York-born actor also joined the much more obscure contingent of Academy Award winners to clock extended minutes at the Academy podium

"Anora" captured five Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress in a star-studded ceremony hosted by Conan O’Brien in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The heated best actor race was headlined by Timothée Chalamet and Adrien Brody, who traded wins through award season.

Adrien Brody nabbed an Academy Award Sunday for his portrayal of an architect in “The Brutalist,” marking the second Oscar for the Jewish actor. Mikey Madison, who is Jewish, also won best actress for her role in “Anora,” which won best picture.

Adrien Brody is walking away with the coveted Best Actor trophy. The star, 51, took home the award for his role as László Tóth in “The Brutalist” at the 2025 Oscars on Sunday night. He beat out Ralph Fiennes (“Conclave”), Timothée Chalamet (“A Complete Unknown”), Sebastian Stan (“The Apprentice”) and Colman Domingo (“Sing Sing”).

Doylestown-set drama The Brutalist netted Adrien Brody his second Academy Award for his role in the locally-set historical epic. Brody won his first Academy Award for best actor for his role in 2002′s The Pianist.

M.M. They were never going to give that Oscar to a guy wearing a yellow tux to the show. But I say that in jest. Because if anyone could pull off a yellow tux, it's Chalamet. Voters just really have a thing about not giving the lead actor Oscar to a "kid.
