The FAA has temporarily banned drone flights over critical infrastructure sites in New Jersey and New York for 30 days, following a spike in drone sightings and laser incidents. The ban includes 22 sites in New Jersey and 29 in New York,

Residents of both states have been growing increasingly alarmed over the past month by unexplained bright lights in the nighttime skies and frustrated by a lack of answers.

The Federal Aviation Administration said on Thursday it was temporarily barring drone flights over dozens of critical infrastructure sites in New Jersey and New York.
