Bubba Wallace will start alongside Tyler Reddick on the front row for the NASCAR Cup Series race at COTA in Austin, Texas.

XI Racing, led by Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace, lock in the front row for Sunday's Cup race at Circuit of The Americas following qualifying.

And to pull a crew chief from the Truck Series was not a common move in Cup. It has worked for two-time Daytona 500 winner William Byron, who has been with former Truck crew chief Rudy Fugle since 2021, but they worked together in 2016 in the Truck Series.

Reddick won his 10th career pole (and second at COTA) with a lap of 88.095 mph. He led a 23XI Racing sweep of the front row. Bubba Wallace qualified second, his best starting spot in 33 career road course events. Wallace qualified at 87.894 mph.

XI swept the front row for Sunday's race at COTA (3:30 p.m. ET, FOX) after Tyler Reddick won the pole, with Bubba Wallace starting second.
