Saturday afternoon promises to be an emotional day in Sunrise as the Calgary Flames visit the Florida Panthers.
SUNRISE, Fla. – Aleksander Barkov scored a pair of goals and Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves as the Florida Panthers held on for a 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amerant Bank Arena on Monday. Improving to 38-21-3, the Panthers ended the Lightning’s winning streak at eight games.
Standing tall over his last eight starts, Bobrovsky is 6-2-0 with a .928 save percentage.
The Florida Panthers wrapped up game two of a five-game homestand with a dominant 2-1 win over in-state rivals, the Tampa Bay Lightning. Not only was Seth Jones marvelous in his debut with the Cats, but the entire team from the ground up contributed to what was a complete effort to yet again keep the Bolts at bay.
