The devastated dad of tragic schoolboy Amen Teklay paid tribute to his 'remarkable' young son at an emotional vigil in Glasgow. Amen, 15, died after he was found seriously injured on Clarendon Street in the Maryhill area of the city last week.
Police Scotland confirmed the news this morning, March 7, following a post-mortem examination - detectives appealing to the public for information or private CCTV or dashcam footage.

Police have launched a murder inquiry after a man was found dead at a property in Glasgow. The body of James Jarvis, 55, was found in Monar Street in the city's Possilpark area at 07:20 on Wednesday. Officers said his car, a black VW Golf, was discovered nearby in Auckland Street and they are investigating how it came to be there.

A one-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after 'falling from a window' in Glasgow. Emergency services were called to the Knightswood area of the city at around 12.35pm on Sunday, STV News reports. The boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children, where he is being treated for serious, but none life-threatening injuries.
