WASHINGTON (TNND) — Israel is saying it will not withdraw from the strategic corridor in the Gaza Strip as called for by the ceasefire after Hamas released the remains of four hostages in exchange for over 600 Palestinian prisoners.

Four Hamas members suspected of plotting attacks on Jewish institutions in Europe went on trial in Berlin on Tuesday, in what prosecutors described as the first court case against militants of the Islamist group in Germany.
