Three wildfires continue to burn in the Los Angeles region, according to Cal Fire. The Palisades and Eaton fires have scorched nearly 40,000 acres, destroying thousands of homes and forcing tens of thousands of evacuations. The fires are 31% and 65% contained, respectively, but authorities said earlier this week that the blazes had little growth.

"I mean, Pacific Palisades, it doesn't exist and probably won't exist for the next five, six years," the comedian told CNN.

Hollywood stars are picking up the pieces after discovering their affluent neighborhood was reduced to ash and rubble when the California wildfires tore though Pacific Palisades.

Despite initially believing his house to be destroyed by Palisades Fire in LA, actor James Woods' house has survived.

Fires across the Los Angeles area have killed at least 24 people and destroyed more than 12,000 structures, officials said, scorching more than 60 square miles and displacing tens of thousands of people.
