From the varying experiences that passengers shared, it seems that Carnival doesn’t have one specific thing that it does to celebrate passengers’ birthdays. It’s easy to see though that crew members are eager to go out of their way to help make the day special when they know a passenger is celebrating a special occasion on board.

Cruise lines are no exception, with QR codes now commonly found on dining tables and no paper menus provided unless there is a specific request. To be fair, there is a lot to like about using QR codes and app-based menus when in Carnival’s main dining room.

Although there will always be people who like to complain, this huge change has been met with major approval from the cruise line’s passengers.
