Boeing stock rose Monday following an upgrade at Barclays, with analysts citing the potential for a recovery in 2025.Shares of the aerospace company gained 1.3% to $172.17 as analysts led by David Strauss upgraded Boeing shares to Overweight from Equal Weight and raised their price target to $210 from $190.

While other aerospace stocks have done well, with GE stock rising 65% and Airbus ADR up 5%, Boeing has itself to blame for the headwinds it faced last year.

If you're feeling relieved that you haven't been a recent Boeing shareholder, I can't blame you -- because if you'd parked, say, $10,000 in Boeing five years ago, you'd now have an investment worth $5,340 or so. That's a total drop of nearly 47% and an average annual decline of about 12%.
