Officer Christopher Reese, 30, was one of two Virginia Beach Police officers shot and killed in the line of duty Friday night while trying to conduct a traffic stop.

Virginia Beach police have confirmed that John McCoy III, the suspect who killed two officers Friday, is the same man who appeared in a WTKR News 3 story nearly two decades ago.
