The New York Giants have a fascinating quarterback heading into the 2025 NFL season. New York signed Russell Wilson to a one-year contract this offseason before drafting Jaxson Dart in the first round. Now one former quarterback is making the case for Dart just weeks before the regular season.

The Giants set up their QB room this offseason to give Dart time to learn. They signed two veterans, Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Then they traded back into the first round to take the quarterback Dart out of Ole Miss with the No. 25 overall pick. With Wilson and Winston, the Giants have no reason to rush Dart.

Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart gave New York Giants fans reasons to be optimistic about the team's future via his first two preseason outings in August. It sounds like Dart is also quickly becoming a favorite among his teammates.
