French video game and accessories maker Nacon has said it expects the Nintendo Switch 2 to launch at some point between April and September 2025. Nintendo revealed the Switch 2 last week with a brief video that outlined the look of the console and offered a glimpse at Mario Kart 9.

Nintendo hasn’t said when the Switch 2 release date is, beyond a vague 2025 window. However, Nacon has said it expects the console to arrive in the first half of its 2025/2026 fiscal year.

After breathless speculation and much digital ink spilled, Nintendo unveiled the Nintendo Switch 2, the successor to its hugely successful console, in a video. Aside from its appearance of it, not much is known about the system.

Of course, Nintendo's own online store is going to be a safe bet. Listings will likely go live as soon as Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders are actually announced - but stock will move particularly quickly. This is where everyone is heading, so it can pay off to think outside the box.
