LOS ANGELES -- Sidney Crosby had a goal and an assist to pass the 50-point mark for the 18th time in his NHL career in the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 5-1 win against the Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena on Monday.
The circumstances are particularly meaningful for Penguins forward Blake Lizotte, who started his NHL career with the Kings and had 106 points (37 goals, 69 assists) in 320 games for them. This will be his first game at Crypto.com Arena as a visitor, but the LAFD hat he wore after Monday’s morning skate reflected the larger circumstances.

The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Samuel Helenius from the Ontario Reign, it was announced Wednesday. Helenius, a product of Dallas, Texas, has split time this season between the NHL and the AHL. In 21 games with the Kings, he has collected two assists while tallying three points in nine games with the Reign.
