Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck could return for part of spring practices, Mario Cristobal said Monday morning.

Beck is recovering from surgery to repair a torn UCL in his right elbow sustained while playing in the SEC Championship Game for Georgia.

Miami had its first official spring practice. Transfer quarterback Carson Beck wasn’t able to physically participate since he’s still recovering from his UCL injury. However, Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal claims Beck still made positive contributions during the practice.
