Wisconsin says it has “credible information” that Miami and Xavier Lucas made impermissible contact with each other before the former Badgers cornerback decided to transfer to his home-state school.

The NCAA requires schools to adhere to a player’s transfer request, but Lucas' name never appeared in the portal.

According to Yahoo Sports, Wisconsin CB Xavier Lucas has enrolled in classes at Miami after the Badgers denied his transfer portal application.

In his current standoff with the Heat front office ( read: Pat Riley ), Miami attempted to avoid the “burn everything down” portion by suspending Butler seven games for conduct detrimental to the team ( read: attempting to force a trade ).
