Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes didn't mince words when speaking about the New York Mets' trio of superstars in their lineup.

David Peterson matched the Pirates' ace and the Mets recovered from a blown lead in the top of the ninth to win it.

The Mets answered back in the fourth inning against Skenes. Nimmo led off the inning with a line drive double, and then center fielder Jeff McNeil, swinging on the first pitch, followed with a one-out double to right field to tie the game 1-1.
