The Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Google Pixel 9 Pro are two of the best compact Android phones on the market, but which is the one for you?

The S25 Ultra still has an S Pen, but Samsung removed Bluetooth features that allowed you to use the stylus like a magic wand. Samsung says few people used those features, and on balance, it’s no great loss. But it’s the principle more than anything that stings.

I’ve spent a little bit of time with the Galaxy S25 Plus this week, and while I haven’t yet gone extensively through the new features and capabilities, I’ve had some pretty good first impressions of the phone.
