CNN's Scott Jennings and Breitbart's Alex Marlow take over Salem Radio's prestigious noon-3 p.m. slot formerly held by Charlie Kirk starting Jan. 5.

The time slot is one of the most coveted in conservative media, as it was once occupied by right-wing talk icon Rush Limbaugh.

Salem Media said on Wednesday that conservative commentator Scott Jennings and Breitbart's Alex Marlow will take over Charlie Kirk's midday window on its radio network next year. Marlow, who serves as Breitbart's editor-in-chief,

Kirk’s programme will continue as a podcast under the organization he founded, Turning Point USA, while the radio reins now pass on.

The conservative Salem Radio Network is tapping CNN commentator Scott Jennings and Breitbart News' Alex Marlow to fill its national midday slot formerly held by slain activist Charlie Kirk.

Alex Marlow, Editor-in-Chief of Breitbart News, will anchor the 12–1 p.m. ET hour, followed by Scott Jennings, CNN political commentator and longtime conservative strategist, who will expand his current SRN program to two hours, airing from 1–3 p.m. ET.

According to the report, while Alex Marlow will host from noon to 1 pm, the 1 pm to 3 pm has been taken by Scott Jennings. The program will start from January 5, 2026
