Two men who were in attendance at the Stockton mass shooting that left four dead and 11 injured are in custody but not considered shooters, officials told KCRA 3 on Tuesday.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office encouraged anyone with information that can assist in the investigation to call detectives at (209) 468-4400.

Around 7 p.m., deputies were called to the 700 block of Gertrude Avenue in Stockton for a report of a shooting.

Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered flags at the California State Capitol to be flown at half-staff in honor of the children killed in a weekend mass shooting in Stockton.

AG Rob Bonta said he doesn't think the support his office offered was accepted, but that he trusts the law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation.

Three children ages 8, 9 and 14 and a 21-year-old were killed in the hall where at least 100 people were gathered, San Joaquin County Sheriff Patrick Withrow said.
