Aug 3, 2022 · From what I understand, the rest of them (i.e., Batocera, Recalbox, RetroPie) are actually OS'es, rather than mere emulators/frontends, designed specifically for retro gaming.

Batocera will be a little more advanced in system and feature integrations, while Retrobat will give you more flexibility for adding systems and provide better support for native Windows emulators.
