🎉 Happy Birthday, Santa Ana! Today, Oct. 27, we celebrate 156 years since William “Uncle Billy” Spurgeon founded Santa Ana in 1869. Spurgeon mapped out the city’s heart along Fourth Street, which quickly became the center of Santa Ana’s commercial and social life. When Santa Ana became the seat of the newly formed Orange County in 1889, downtown Santa Ana served as the county’s hub for shopping, business and government.
