HURRICANE CAMILLE DIARY - Worth a listen, 50 years later. Virginia State Trooper Edward Tinsley documented the aftermath of unprecedented rainfall caused by Camille -- 31" in just 6 hours -- in Nelson County the night of August 19, 1969. The resulting flood killed 153 people. Many were never recovered and are still buried in the mud. I've put together some clips of his rare account.
