I’m exploring Ashburn, one of Chicago’s most overlooked neighborhoods on day 373 of my journey to run every single street in the city. I discover the area’s fascinating history as a dumping ground for city ashes and home to Chicago’s first airport, the Ashburn Flying Field. Despite being forgotten by many, this neighborhood of 40k residents is vibrant and diverse, and I love this hardworking, family-oriented community that pretty much all have beautiful cars and homes! #chicago #explorechicago #
