Today the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council send the revenue department for surveying at Balijan Colony. A court case has been going on between the KAAC and Balijan Colony over land dispute and eviction notice passed by the KAAC. And hence the court passed an order that no such activities should be done until the next hearing of the court which will be on the 2nd of February 2022, but defying the law, the revenue department further proceeded their survey work.
